Participating in the Northumbria University doctoral project on Collaborative Communications continues to be an eye opener. As someone "living" virtually in the digital realm for decades now, it can be surprising to discover that the thinking of those newer to navigating virtual reality reflects a bricks and mortar world.
My own surprise reminds me that I must step back and allow what is to be. In that vein, the video below resonates. As I prepare to teach a graduate level course on records in the digital environment, I think this may be an important reminder for the students. Equally true of bricks and mortar collaborations, the message is key to realizing the potential of diverse interactions over the internet.
